Andrzej Betlej – art historian, professor of the humanities, employed at the Jagiellonian University Institute of Art History. Director of the Jagiellonian University Institute of Art History in 2012-2016, director of the National Museum in Krakow in 2016-2019. His tenure coincided with the completion of the conservation renovation and the opening of a new exhibition at the Princes Czartoryski Museum, branch of the National Museum in Krakow. In 2020, he was appointed director of the Wawel Royal Castle – State Art Collections. During his tenure, Wawel Castle underwent an overhaul; the previously closed Royal Gardens and the Gereon Church were opened to the public, along with new permanent exhibitions – a result of completed investments – including the Crown Treasury, the Underground Wawel Castle, the Lapidarium and the Zwinger, as well as the Wawel Town in the Small Tower. His research interests focus on modern art, in particular on heritage preservation. At the Wawel Royal Castle, with the help of his Team, he has been nurturing the memory of the heritage of the past for more than six years by organising cross-sectional exhibitions (All the King’s Tapestries. Returns 2021 – 1961 – 1921, Image of the Golden Age<\/em>), as well as engaging in a dialogue with the present, as evidenced by contemporary artistic interventions inspired by the art and history of Wawel Castle.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Denis Bocquet, born in 1970 in the French Alps, has been a professor at \u00c9cole Nationale Sup\u00e9rieure d’Architecture in Strasbourg (France) since 2014, where he directs the master’s studies in urban planning. He is a graduate of \u00c9cole Normale Sup\u00e9rieure (1990-1994) and holds a degree in history from Sorbonne University and in urban planning from the University of Paris-Est. He worked as an assistant at the University in Aix-en-Provence, where he conducted research in history and urban planning at the French school in Rome (1999-2002), and was also a lecturer at \u00c9cole Nationale des Ponts et Chauss\u00e9es in Paris. He lectured at the Technische Universit\u00e4t Dresden (2007-2011) and the Technische Universit\u00e4t Berlin. He is the author of numerous articles and publications on European cities. He is the editor-in-chief of the Espaces et Soci\u00e9t\u00e9s journal.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

A graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology. She received first prize in the Concrete Architecture 2024 competition for her diploma thesis. A graduate of the Faculty of Landscape Architecture at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.\u00a0 Since 2018, she has been working at the Faculty of Architecture at the Warsaw University of Technology in the Department of Architectural and Urban Design. Since 2017, she has been a co-owner of the Warsaw-based landscape design studio topoScape. She is a winner of numerous competitions (together with the topoScape and Archigrest teams) for parks in Warsaw and Bie\u017cu\u0144, as well as a co-author of award-winning works in architectural competitions carried out in cooperation with: Archigrest, Grupa 5 Architekci, Bujnowski Architekci, T\u0141O-Micha\u0142 Sikorski. She is also the author of the design for the \u201cAkcja Burza\u201d Park on the Warsaw Uprising Mound.\u00a0 The park received first prizes in the following competitions: European Prize for Urban Public Space 2024, European Garden Award 2025, and was the winner of three categories of the Architectural Awards of the Mayor of the City of Warsaw, including the Grand Prix of the competition, the Grand Prix of the Architectural Award of the weekly magazine \u201cPolityka,\u201d and first prize in the Polish Cement in Architecture competition. Since 2007, a designer at eM4. Pracownia Architektury. Brataniec, specializing in public space and landscape architecture projects. Member of the Association of Polish Architects (SARP), Krakow\u00a0 and a certified SARP competition judge. Between 2016 and 2020, she served as Secretary General of IFLA Europe. Since 2016, a member of the Presidium of the Scientific Council of the Pieniny National Park and a long-standing board member of the Polish Landscape Architecture Association (SAK).<\/p>

Curator of international landscape architecture exhibitions, including the Visegrad Group exhibitions CLAV 2012 and 2015, as well as the IFLA Europe exhibitions in 2018 and 2022. Bartosz Haduch – architect, academic teacher, publicist, winner of architectural competitions, awards and scholarships. He is the author of numerous publications (including in Wallpaper, Mark-Magazine, Domus and A&B) and books (“architectourism – Spain”, “Herzog de Meuron. Architects (and) artists”, “Jean Nouvel. Ar(t)chitecture”). He is also involved in photography – in 2016 he was one of the winners of the largest global competition in this field – Sony World Photography Awards. After studies and professional practice in the Netherlands, Spain and Austria, he started design studio in Krakow. Since 2009, he has been running the NArchitekTURA group, combining activities in the field of urban planning, architecture, landscape design, design and graphics. The most important projects of the studio include: arrangements for exhibitions of works by Rembrandt, Botticelli, Hokusai and Wyspia\u0144ski, the Apartment of the Future in Dobrodzie\u0144 and the Ethnographic Museum in Krakow. The Memorial Park of the Great Synagogue in O\u015bwi\u0119cim, designed by the group, was among the 40 final European projects as part of the Mies van der Rohe Award 2022. Chief designer of the urban concept for the Area Revitalization of the Center of \u0141\u00f3d\u017a (areas 1,2,4; approximately 67.5 ha). Author of a number of award-winning buildings, including: Stara Drukarnia office building, S\u0142oneczne Tarasy apartment building, Laboratories of the Faculty of Environment of Lodz University of Technology, area revitalization project. After graduating from the Lodz University of Technology, he completed doctoral studies, conservation of monuments, marketing and management, and a philosophy course. Lecturer in practice and architectural theorist at the University of \u0141\u00f3d\u017a and the Art School of Design in \u0141\u00f3d\u017a, as expert in the field of public utility, operational urban planning, revitalization and investment management. Since 2019, the president of the Association of Polish Architects, \u0141\u00f3d\u017a Branch, he is a member of the SARP competition judges. Grzegorz Lechowicz \u2013 graduate of the Faculty of Architecture at the Cracow University of Technology. Between 1991 and 2008, he worked at the Studio Architektoniczne design office run by the late architect Wojciech Obtu\u0142owicz. Since 2008, he has been running his own design studio. He specializes in residential and public buildings designs, often subject to heritage protection. He is the co-designer of, among others, the Warsaw Rising Museum, court buildings in Cracow and Krosno, the Polish Pavilion at Expo 2000, the \u201cKrakow\u201d Library, the extension of the Museum of the Polish Post Office in Gda\u0144sk, and the Fortress Road at Wawel Royal Castle. Prof. Piotr Lorens – Ph.D., DSc., urban planner. Gda\u0144sk City Architect; Head of the Department of Urban Design and Regional Planning at the Faculty of Architecture, Gdansk University of Technology. Completed post-graduate studies (as a Fulbright Fellow) at Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His professional interests include urban planning and regeneration processes, focusing on waterfront areas and public spaces. Active as a guest lecturer and visiting professor at numerous universities and conducting a professional career focusing on planning and managing urban regeneration projects. For many years involved in planning for the regeneration of the Young City in Gdansk – the large-scale urban project located on the site of the former Gdansk shipyard. Associated with international and Polish organizations: ICOMOS, TICCIH, ISOCARP, and Society of Polish Town Planners. He graduated in Architecture in Florence and moved to Tokyo, where he worked with Arata Isozaki until 2004. Within the firm, he became an associate and responsible for Italian projects. During this period, he oversaw the design of the Turin Palahockey, a major project built for the 2006 Winter Olympics. It was conceived from the outset for post-Olympic use, along with the Olympic swimming pool and the Piazza d’Armi park. Today, the facility hosts concerts, conferences, and various events. In 2005, he opened his own firm, Andrea Maffei Architects, in Milan, developing numerous projects in Italy and abroad. He has been involved in the CityLife project, the transformation of the old Fiera di Milano, since the competition stage in 2004. Together with Isozaki, he designed the master plan for CityLife and the design of the Allianz skyscraper. He has won several Italian competitions, including the new Bologna station (2008), the new headquarters of the Province of Bergamo (2009), the Novara football stadium (2019), a mixed-use tower in Pordenone (2020), and the Bovisio Masciago school (2023).<\/p>

He started his professional career in the 1990s, working for the Podhale waterworks and the Association of Communes of Upper Raba Catchment and Krak\u00f3w, where he held the position of the Manager of the Investment Department and was responsible for implementing a program, worth more than PLN 500 million, to protect the primary source of potable water for a million residents of Krak\u00f3w and neighbouring communes.<\/p>

Associated with Krak\u00f3w Water since 1999. Started working for the Company as the Manager of the Procurement and Contracts Department, and then gained experience holding positions including: Deputy Director for Investments and European Funds, President\u2019s Representative for Procurement and Investment Project Preparation, and the Technical Director. Pawe\u0142 Senderek graduated from the Faculty of Environmental Engineering at the Krak\u00f3w University of Technology. He also completed the following postgraduate courses: Water supply and sewage disposal at the Krak\u00f3w University of Technology, as well as Information security management, Contemporary concepts of enterprise management and Methods and techniques of process management at the Krak\u00f3w University of Economics. He completed the MBA in Public Management studies organized by the Krakow Business School of the University of Economics in Krakow. He is authorized to sit on supervisory boards.

In almost thirty years of professional work, he gained and consolidated knowledge and experience in the operation of commercial code companies, enterprise management, as well as relations between the company and its market environment. He also has practical skills in planning and executing investment projects, technological process organisation, negotiations and resolving commercial disputes. He has represented Krak\u00f3w Water multiple times in arbitration and mediation proceedings, including before the Court of Arbitration of the Polish Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw. He was involved in the effective sourcing of EU funds and funds from other external sources. He has been qualified and acted as the Measure Authorizing Officer multiple times.

In 2021, Pawe\u0142 Senderek received the Honoris Gratia award from the Mayor of the City of Krak\u00f3w for his outstanding contribution to the city and its residents, and in February 2023, the Drohobych City Council decided to honour him with a special medal for charity and supporting the residents of this city. He is a member of the Society of Krak\u00f3w History and Heritage Enthusiasts founded in 1896.<\/p>

Janusz Sepio\u0142, born in 1955, architect, art historian, urban planner. He graduated from the Faculty of Architecture at the Cracow University of Technology and studied art history at the Jagiellonian University. He worked at the Cracow Development Office (BIURO ROZWOJU KRAKOWA) as the Provincial Architect and at the Housing and City Development Office. He served as the Deputy Marshal and then the Marshal of the Ma\u0142opolska Province, as well as a senator of the Republic of Poland for two terms. From 2021 to 2024, he was the City Architect of Rzesz\u00f3w, and since September 2024, he has been the Chief Architect of the City of Cracow. He is the author of numerous scientific and journalistic texts on architecture and urban planning, the author of ten books, as well as the co-author and editor of several others. He is a member of the Association of Polish Architects (SARP) and was awarded the honorary medal of the \u201cBene Merentibus\u201d by the Association in 2016. He grown up in Olomouc as a son of architect Lubom\u00edr \u0160lapeta and graduated in architecture at the Czech Technical University \u010cVUT in Prague, he worked as an architect in Ostrava and served as Head of Architecture Section of the National Technical Museum in Prague \/1973-91\/, later as Dean of the Architecture Faculty \u010cVUT in Prague \/1991-97,2003-06\/ and of the Architecture Faculty BUT in Brno\/2006-2010\/. Dominika Tihanyi, co-founded the office \u00dajir\u00e1ny Group in 2000, which practise aims to reflect on new urban challenges drawn up by the ever changing world around us and to set up new directions and possibilities of development. As one of the members of \u00dajir\u00e1ny group Dominika Tihanyi takes part in creating landscape design and public art works, takes part in international workshops (Frankfurt, Leipzig) and gives lectures in Hungary and abroad (Stockholm, Rapperswil, Kassel, RIBA, ICA \u2013 London).<\/p>

She obtained her DLA at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, where she also teaches landscape architecture. Her research work deals with the social aspects of sustainability, focusing on the implementation of creative strategies and public art in the course of urban regeneration. The chain of public interventions to follow up this methodology was selected in the book Landscape Architecture Europe #4. She was also part of the jury of LAE#5.<\/p>

Polish architect and engineer, conservator of heritage and monuments. Ma\u0142opolska Provincial Conservator of Monuments since 2024. She graduated in Architecture and Urban Planning from the Cracow University of Technology (Politechnika Krakowska), subsequently completing postgraduate studies in Real Estate Brokerage at the AGH University of Science and Technology (Akademia G\u00f3rniczo-Hutnicza) in Krakow. Between 2006 and 2021, she worked at the Provincial Office for the Protection of Monuments in Krakow. Her responsibilities included projects related to the revitalisation of historic buildings such as castles, palaces, churches and synagogues in the Ma\u0142opolska province.\u00a0 She also supervised varoius conservation works in Krakow’s Old Town, Kazimierz and Stare Podg\u00f3rze districts. During time at the office, she held various roles ranging from inspector and specialist to head of the Department for the Inspection of Immovable Monuments. Since 2021, she has worked at the Municipal Investment Board in Krakow as a senior specialist in the Cubature Investment Department. She supervised and coordinated investment processes.
